I personally have the Model Two and I enjoy it very much with husband. Every Friday, we gather together with a couple of our friends and we used to bring over our favorite bottle of wine thinking we were going to have at least a glass of it, but to our surprise, upon arrival at the gathering, they would have already other kind of wine opened and we have to stick to those and of course, we are not going to take that bottle that we just brought back lol! that would be so embarrassed...so we would have to drink awful wines! we gave them Coravin and now we All enjoy what we want! not what we were told to drink. I love my Coravin!

Nicely said. The Coravin is all about revenue. As Joe said, it allows them to sell a $300 glass of wine rather that waiting for a $1500 bottle purchase. I sincerely doubt that the average line chef is pouring a $300 glass to check the pairing or the quality of a cellar bottle but it might happen at a higher level. It is a revenue enhancer and I agree, a game changer.
